Fantasy Superbowl Party Menu: Dairy-free and Food Allergy Friendly

I asked the Hubs what I should blog about this week, and he said "football!. He's obviously a football/sports fan, and he watched the 2 games on Sunday that decided who went to the Superbowl.

Let's just say I'm less of a sports fan.

Heck, I didn't even know who was in the running for the Superbowl. I'd rather play on the field or watch in person than watch on TV. On the other hand, I love the celebrations and fun get-togethers that come along with sports events.

Thankfully I'm NOT have a Superbowl party this year (sounds bad, but thankfully I don't have to do all the prep work!).  But if I were having a Superbowl party this year, this would be my fantasy food allergy-friendly menu. It's obviously dairy-free, egg-free, wheat-free, nut-free and sesame-free:

Appetizers:

Avocado Hummus - because I've never tried this recipe and it looks so good! Oh and it's made with avocados :)

Dairy-free Seven Layer Taco Dip - because I've never made this either, but I LOVE Mexican food, especially in dip form.

Meal:

Three Bean Salad - because it's a crowd pleaser and Little Guy loves it despite telling me he doesn't like beans ;)

Crockpot Chicken Fajitas - because it's easy and good.

Herb Roasted Sweet Potato Skins - because I always make roasted sweet potatoes, but not like this awesome Whole Foods recipe!

Dessert:

No Bake Oat Balls - because I just made them again this weekend and they're AWESOME! So easy, sweet and tasty.

Ball Game Vegan Ice Cream Pie - because this looks delicious but I'd make it without the peanuts for us!

What will you be eating in a few weeks on Superbowl Sunday?

Here are some of our other family food allergy friendly celebrations. Check them out!
