I'm still working out the "kinks" in my blog and trying to make it a well-designed, helpful and fun resource.....so thanks for your patience as I get this together slowly but surely!
These no bake oat balls are my son’s new favorite treat. It seems like “no bake” everything is a popular trend recently, and there are many recipes online for no bake treats. However, most of the no bake recipes have allergens in them that my son has to avoid. So, I adapted this recipe to make them allergy-friendly and also make them with things I already had in my kitchen!

Here’s a photo of everything you need:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free quick cooking oats
- 1 cup gluten-free Rice Krispies
- ½ cup Enjoy Life Crunchy Flax cereal
- ½ cup Enjoy Life chocolate chips
- ½ cup SunButter
- 1 tsp vanilla extrac
- 1/3 cup organic agave nectar (since I had this on hand instead of honey)
Directions:
Mix everything together with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Roll into balls. Your hands will get sticky - especially near the end of the bowl.
Eat and enjoy!!
I’ve tried this recipe one other time since this time and increased the amount of oats and left out the Rice Krispies since I like oats so much. I also added coconut which was tasty.
Next time I’m also going to reduce the amount of chocolate chips, increase the oats, and maybe add a few Craisins to try something a little different!
The beauty of this snack is that it’s so quick and easy, and you can change ingredients to work with your preferences and what you already have in the house. However, portion control is important with these yummy treats!
What's your favorite no bake recipe??
