Early April Fools?

Nope, it's not April 1, but it sure feels like it.  My husband must have been extra excited about our Oscar competition this year since he told me TONIGHT was Oscar night. We went to a Baptism celebration (happy Baptism S.J.!) for some of our best friends and realized the Oscar's are NEXT Sunday! It just shows me that I have to check my sources even when it's my usually very knowledgeable husband.  :)

Sooo, I have homemade popcorn to eat this week. Yum! I'll have to think of another fun snack for next Sunday's Oscars or repeat our popcorn making fun!

We had a fun Sunday despite some car trouble, crying kids and craziness in general.  I always find it amazing how much fun we can have in between all the madness. The little moments of joy are what I try to hang onto throughout the more difficult times.  I snapped this photo in between a morning of car trouble, fussy and tired kids, and a freezing walk into the church. We were having fun in the midst of it all!
